Dr. Bruno Wu is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Sun Media Investment Holdings Limited and also is the Chairman, Group Chief Executive Officer, Executive Officer and Executive Director of Sun Media Group Holdings Limited. From June 1998 until February 1999, Dr. Wu joined and served as the Chief Operating Officer of Asia Television Limited, one of the two free-to-air networks in Hong Kong. From 2001-2002, he served as the co-chairman of SINA Corporation, the World’s largest Chinese Internet Media Company. Dr. Wu received his Diploma of Studies in French Civilization from the University of Savoie, France, in 1987. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Finance from Culver-Stockton College in Missouri in December 1990. He received his Master of Arts in International Affairs degree from Washington University, Missouri in 1993 and a Ph.D. in the International Politics Department of College of Law, Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2001. Dr. Wu is a member of both the International Council and the Foundation of The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, United States, the organization that issues the annual International Emmy Award. In 2003, Dr. Wu was appointed as the Chairman of the iEMMYs Festival for a term of two years. Dr. Wu is a member of the International Council of the Museum of Television and Radio in New York and Los Angeles. Dr. Wu is also a trustee of the Board of Foreign Affairs University of China, the cradle of Chinese diplomats. Dr. Wu received the Super Media Star Award issued by Hong Kong–Macau Distinguished Person’s Society in October 1998.
