Fu Chengyu, President, CNOOC, Executive Chairman, CFIE, P.R. China

Born in 1951 and a graduate of China’s Northeast Petroleum Institute, Mr. Fu earned his master's degree in petroleum engineering from University of Southern California in the United States later. Mr. Fu joined CNOOC in 1982 and has held several senior management posts in CNOOC Nanhai East Corporation, in Phillips Petroleum (Asia) and in CNOOC Limited. Mr. Fu became Chairman and CEO of CNOOC Oilfield Services Limited in August 2002. In October 2003, Mr. Fu became President of CNOOC. He was also appointed Chairman and CEO of CNOOC Limited. He serves as Executive Chairman of CFIE.
