Jutta Ludwig, Delegate, German Delegation of Industry and Commerce, Beijing; Executive Director and Board Member of the German Chamber of Commerce in China, P.R. China
Jutta Ludwig studied at Hamburg University and
Taipei University and in 1981 completed her
studies as a Sinologist and Economist in Hamburg.
In 1984, she became Executive Director in the
German East-West Trade Committee (Ost-Ausschuss
der Deutschen Wirtschaft) of the Federation
of German Industries (BDI) with main focus
on China; 1993, she headed the China-Coordination
Department with Karstadt AG; 1997, Ludwig
became Project Director at the Wuppertal Institute
for Climate, Environment and Energy.
Jutta Ludwig has published several articles on
Chinese economy and environment.
In 2003, Jutta Ludwig assumed her current
position as Delegate of the Delegation of German
Industry and Commerce in Beijing and the Executive
Director and Board Member of the German
Chamber of Commerce in China.
