Zhao Xizheng, President, China Electric Council, Chairperson of Presidium, CFIE, P.R. China
Born in 1942, Mr. Zhao graduated from Tsinghua
University in 1966. Mr. Zhao has held senior posts
in Heilongjiang province Bureau of Electricity
Industry, Northeast Electricity Administration
Bureau of China, Northeast Electricity Corporation
of China and Northeast China Electric Power
Group Co. From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Zhao served as
Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Power Industry
of China. In Oct. 2002, he was appointed as the
Deputy Party Secretary of the State Power Corp.
At present, he serves as President of China Electricity
Council and Presidium Chairman of CFIE.
