System operator

Our website is hosted by Kontrapunkt Agentur für Kommunikation GmbH, Goldbekplatz 2, 22303 Hamburg, Germany. This service provider collects and stores the following information for us, which your terminal automatically transmits:

  • Browser type/version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
  • IP address of your terminal
  • Time of the server request

We use this information exclusively for optimisation and error analysis. A comparison with other data stocks or a passing on to third parties, also in excerpts, does not take place. The data will be deleted automatically after 30 days at the latest.

Third-party services

Our website uses content and services of third parties. These include, for example, tools for sending newsletters and analysing user behaviour. In order for the services to be made available, it is imperative that the IP address be transmitted from your terminal to the third-party provider. Wherever possible, we have chosen a configuration that conforms to data protection regulations. However, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. The third-party vendors are listed below.

Fathom Analytics

Our website uses the services of Fathom Analytics for website analytics. Fathom Analytics does not use cookies and complies with EU GDPR. Your IP address is only briefly processed, and Handelskammer Hamburg, operating this website, has no way of identifying you.

iFrame integration of the Twitter feed

The Twitter feed (Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA) is integrated into our website. Twitter International Company, One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2 D02 AX07, Ireland, is responsible for the processing of data of persons living outside the United States.

Twitter uses Twitter buttons or widgets integrated into websites and cookies to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Twitter profile. On the basis of this data, content and advertising can be tailored and offered to you. Because Twitter Inc. is a non-European provider with a European subsidiary only in Ireland, it is not bound by German data protection regulations in its own reading. This concerns, for instance, your rights to information, blocking or deletion of data and the possibility of objecting to the use of data for advertising purposes.
